SUMMARY OF PRIMARY FUNCTION
The purpose of the Product Applications Manager - US (On-site) is to provide product expertise and solutions including hardware and software in customer applications. They will be responsible for ensuring the application, integration and implementation of our products meet customer needs and industry standards. This position will support and ensure successful (NPD) new product development pilots, evaluations and customer approvals, field pilots and will play a key role in the coordination of NPD service readiness and training process. This role involves close collaboration with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Operations and Service teams to provide technical expertise and support throughout the product lifecycle. This position will provide a strong commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs through subject matter expertise, clear communication, collaboration and sense of urgency.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide subject matter expertise across global product portfolio (Hardware & Software) that is commercialized in the America’s and end user customer applications
Serve as the primary technical liaison between Fluid Management, FMDA partners and customers, providing expert guidance and solutions on products, software applications and integration
Provide Level 3 support and close loop resolution to complex customer issues and escalations through cross functional engagement, collaboration and problem solving
Collaborate with the commercial team in managing priorities for customer issues and requests for software applications. Provide expertise to the commercial team during the prioritization process for the activities to be worked on by Software team (Level 4 support)
Collaborate with engineering teams on issues and customer requests and manage customer communications on updates
Champion NPD service readiness, pilots and customer evaluations to ensure customer approvals
Develop and maintain robust documented processes to sustain effective products and software integrations
Ensure consistency and quality of our products and software applications
Execute actions and projects to continuously improve our product performance and software applications including Legacy and New Product Developments
In partnership with Training & Development Manager, develop and deliver product application training and support materials for internal teams, FMDA Service partners and customers
They will be a key stakeholder in Fluid Managements quality process and partner with Technical Support, Field Service, Product Management and Engineering teams to collect data and customer feedback related to quality issues to then work with various disciplines for root cause and countermeasure
Collaborate with the sales team to identify specific customer needs and provide tailored solutions
Responsible for migrating customers from legacy applications to new applications and be subject matter expert for customers during the migration process
Work with Quality, Product Management, Operations and Engineering team to address technical issues and improve product performance based on customer feedback
Management of Database Administrator role to ensure formula book databases are created on time and with quality

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor degree in business or related field is preferred
5+ years of progressive experience in customer service or technical support
2+ years of team leadership experience (in-person and/or remote)
Ability to manage drive multiple tasks
Drive for Results; Works with a sense of urgency or “Own It” mentality
Critical thinking and solid problem solving ability
Continuous improvement and process driven mindset
Proven track record of driving operational excellence in a service environment
Highly adaptable and forward-thinking
Must possess excellent communication, planning, negotiating, troubleshooting, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Based out of Wheeling, IL FM Corporate Office
Travel up to 15% of the time

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $86,000.00 - $129,000.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
