IDEX Senior FP&A Analyst in West Jordan, Utah

SUMMARY

The Senior FP&A Analyst prepares and consolidates Trebor’s financial statements in accordance with US-GAAP and IDEX corporate requirements. Helps drive the business with strong analysis and forecasting skills. Plays a vital role in the Annual Operating Plan development and submittal.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Prepares and consolidates financial statements in accordance with US-GAAP and IDEX corporate requirements. Provides partnership to Director of Finance in improving production efficiency/utilization, make/buy decisions, and budget measurements/analysis.

  • Responsible for weekly, monthly, quarterly forecasts regarding Orders, Sales, Margin, EBITDA, and Working Capital.

  • Serves as principal contact and advisor to internal customers.

  • Performs ad hoc reporting to support Senior Leadership Team.

  • Serves as lead for OneStream reporting system to train all new users. Trains all users as needed to keep all informed of changes to OneStream reporting requirements.

  • Key player in coordination and preparation during Strategic Planning phase in addition to the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan.

  • Monitors compliance with IDEX Corporate Policies and internal Delegation of Authority matrix.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Supports Director of Finance in working with external financial reporting customers such as the independent audit firm, bank, government, etc.

  • Leads SOX Internal Control testing and monitoring.

  • Leads and/or participates in special projects and assignments as required.

  • Maintains and continually updates knowledge of the Company's product(s) and appropriate operating procedures in an effort to properly and effectively maintain accounting records which reflect the Company's operation and financial results.

  • Effectively maintains the professionalism of the Department.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned or directed

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ability to perform general office functions

  • Ability to communicate by speech and hearing via phone and in person

  • Visual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use

  • Up to 10% travel may be required

JOB CONDITIONS

  • General office environment

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required; CPA/CMA and/or MBA highly desired.

  • Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible accounting experience with minimum of three years experience with SOX controls. Experience in reviewing, analyzing and implementing accounting and financial reporting requirements. Manufacturing experience including inventory costing within same environment. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Advanced PC/ERP skills with proficiency in spreadsheet and word software. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment within and outside of the department.

  • Ability to work with multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and integrity
