Reporting to the Director of Marketing Fire and Safety (F&S) EU platform,

the Communication Marketing Manager serves as the primary owner of content strategy, content creation, and content distribution across all channels – digital and print for the F&S EU platform. The role is responsible for leading the creation of all content strategies in collaboration with the broader marketing team.

Their primary objective is to “find the story” to be told among IDEX’s brands and lead the implementation of telling that story via all digital and print channels such as websites, social media, brochures, catalogues etc.

The Communication Marketing Manager is the lead editor of the IDEX Fire and Safety stories in cooperation with the Director of Marketing F&S EU.

Due to the nature of this role, the selected candidate must be available to travel as and when required. This will include shows and to Germany to support the other Business Units.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key activities are:

  • Implements a content strategy which encompasses channel selection and focus (websites, brochures, catalogues, social media, etc), editorial governance, and metrics to be applied and aligned with the business’s overall objectives.

  • Identifies opportunities where content is needed.

  • Creates an editorial structure to ensure that all content across the business is integrated and aligned to support business objectives.

  • Ensures that all the brand narratives and messages are in support of the content strategies and editorial decisions.

  • Creates, delivers, or oversees the implementation of cohesive, high-quality content; uses research results to come up with well-informed topics and themes for content creation.

  • Adapts existing content for new initiatives (as needed).

  • Considers user experience of usability, accessibility, and content, to meet user needs

  • Designs and implements measurement systems in conjunction with the marketing team (and product development teams) that actively measure, manage, optimise and communicate content performance.

  • Utilises social media development tools and processes to facilitate actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making for the business’s social media presence and content (in cooperation with the social media manager)

  • Management of public relations planning for the IDEX Fire & Safety EU Brands aligning with the Marketing Product Launches for all co-brands.

  • Continual development and improvement of processes.

  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.
