Overall Purpose

As a Key Account Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationship with existing customers and oversee sales activities within the specified territory for ADS customers.
Job Responsibilities
Manage sales activities in a specific sales region for ADS accounts, including but not limited, writing sales proposals and quotes, leading proposal presentations including presentation development and generation, development of pricing strategies, negotiating and procuring sales contracts, delivering signed contracts to Operations.
Building relationships and develop strategies for regional accounts in conjunction with Region Business Development Manager for growth.
Join and actively participate in local industry associations. Present technical papers in conferences and sales seminars. Manage region trade show exhibits.
Sell concepts & close opportunities with municipal wastewater and consulting engineering customers.
Meet and/or exceed individual revenue threshold while maintaining and growing sold margins by working with Operations managers to develop competitive pricing for opportunities.
Timely follow-up on leads generated through both corporate and regional efforts for ADS accounts.
Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities in your region.
Report daily & weekly in the contact management data base (CRM) of ADS account prospecting activities including schedules, opportunity management, lead follow up, and contract status.
Abide by on-the-job site safety requirements.
Initiate Project kick-off meetings prior to project start-up for ADS accounts.
Work closely with Operations to determine specific project requirements for costing purposes, and function as client interface for ADS accounts.
Assist in contract interpretation and initial legal review
This role will be supporting the South Region - including Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi.
Complete Special Projects as requested.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or STEM field or equivalent technical degree
Adept at building and nurturing relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and team members
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Adept at building and nurturing relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and team members
Ability to build relationships and work well across functions with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time on a weekly basis within the territory.
Located within the South Region preferred.
Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines with a strong attention to detail.
Experience in municipal water applications and DaaS a plus
Minimum 3 plus years of related direct sales experience preferred
Valid driver’s license

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $74,000.00 - $111,000.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
