SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Responsible for the sale and support of Akron Brass and Hale products service/support of dealer through the use of email, telephone and online platforms to generate sales for all product lines. Position is responsible for expanding the content of Akron Brass, Hale products with existing customers as well as seeking out new opportunities. Also responsible for the utilization of the planning process to identify and target opportunities to focus on maximizing revenue and profitability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Development and execution of customer business plan.

  • Responsible for conducting sales activities in order to exceed sales plan (total sales as well as new and key product sales) on a monthly and quarterly basis. Monitor performance through the review of daily, weekly, and monthly reports/scorecards.

  • Development of distributor network through routine calls, online training & education. Evaluate distribution performance and recommend new accounts, realignment or termination of accounts in order to achieve company objectives.

  • Cold calling, lead generation, following up on leads, product demonstrations, managing sales pipeline, negotiating deals, and closing sales.

  • Demonstrate effective territory and pipeline opportunity management with the Salesforce CRM tool.

  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability professionally interact directly with customers and others via phone, in person, e-mail or other written or verbal methods.

  • Detail-oriented person willing to perform to high standards, driven to get the job done, and who has an outgoing personality.

  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Desire and ability to quickly learn products and applications. Interest in or familiarity with the Fire Industry is an asset.

  • Ability to multi-task with exceptional time management skills.

  • Solid knowledge of MS Office components.
