Finance Business Analyst, JDE Optimization Team

Provide hands-on JD Edwards (JDE) assistance to IDEX Business Units (BUs) who are running JDE as their local ERP. The focus is on optimizing local BU operations using JDE as a shared service.

The position will report to the JDE Optimization Team Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day to day JDE application support to IDEX BU’s, as directed by the Optimization manager

• Track and respond to BU submitted support tickets (Zendesk)

• Drive the adoption of JDE features and functions across the IDEX JDE install base

• Optimize the use of JDE at a BU, either by deploying new or existing JDE functionality

• Translate local business requirements into a comprehensive JDE application flow

• Configure and implement a series of applications in a JDE environment

• Provide end user training on JDE functions

• Support the development of end user training documentation, or best practices

Required Skills:

• Recent, relevant, hands-on experience as a JDE financials consultant/systems analyst

• Functional JDE knowledge of the standard integration tools available in the current 9.2 release (Orchestrator, AIS – Application Integration Services)

• Functional JDE knowledge of embedded BI (forms package)

• Ability to learn new 3rd party packages

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Education:

BS degree in Finance, Computer Science or a related field (Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.)

Prior Work Experience:

• 3 years of experience working with JDE applications as a finance consultant/analyst

• 3 years of experience working with cross-functional teams and heavily matrixed organizations

The estimated compensation for this position is between $100,000 and $105,000, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
