SUMMARY OF PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Product Manager will work on the different phases of product life cycle. They manage multiple priorities in the overall NPD process. They also manage a variety of marketing projects including launching and promoting the company’s products and services within the core markets. They are responsible for management of marketing communications, market research, and new product opportunities identification and definition.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, jointly with Product Management, launch plans/GTM strategies for new products and business case formulation

  • Support in the Tollgate/Stage-gate process to translate business opportunities into successful projects

  • Works closely with commercial team to gather VOC and develop product requirements

  • Conduct Surveys and Analysis on the need of the customer.

  • Develop Competitive and SWOT analysis

  • Conduct primary and secondary market research as needed

  • Support Strategic Planning process

  • Collaborate cross functionally with Engineering, Commercial and Finance as and when needed

  • Works closely with Engineering team to identify root causes to product issues and resolution path

  • Coordinate all company trade show efforts to include development of all necessary booth structures, graphics, digital content creation, and additional related items (including apps).

  • Support and manage all new related literature and brochures, videos, and all required content for a successful launch including technical documentation.

  • Manage social media, digital marketing, press release, web site content, trade show graphics and other marketing materials

  • Manage advertisements and coordination of timeline with all publications

  • Supports preparation and hosting (webinars) of training programs (internal and external)

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE

  • Undergraduate degree in business administration, engineering, marketing, or a related business degree required, MBA preferred

  • 4-6 years of experience in product management in the industrial B2B industry

  • Proven experience in:

  • Product Management and VOC

  • New Product Development (NPD)

  • New Product Launches (GTM)

  • Technical and Marketing Content Creation

  • Market Research

  • Lead Generation (online, tradeshows, campaigns) and CRM

  • Must be able to handle a variety of assignments and meet deadlines

  • Travel up to 25% of the time
