West Jordan, UT manufacturing company is seeking a career minded and self-driven Manufacturing Technician with plating & coating experience that is seeking to professionally grow with a dynamic

team.

The ideal candidate will be able to work diligently, accurately, independently with minimal oversight, and will possess a problem solving ability in order to identify issues and ensure functionality.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience in a production / manufacturing setting or component fabrication and be able to perform the following functions.

Essential Job Functions:

Perform assembly and testing operations on heaters and pumps, service kits, heater elements, modules, refurbish pumps, heater systems, and sub-assemblies.

Responsible for chemical management, operating process equipment, and some technical assembly.

Check assemblies for proper fit, adjusting and replacing parts and components as required.

Tests and troubleshoots pumps and heater systems and/or module assemblies.

Rework faulty systems and/or module assemblies, replacing parts as needed.

Perform simple set-ups for test stands, fixtures, power supplies and other test equipment.

Read and fully understand written instructions and product drawings, schematics and diagrams.

Effectively communicate with peers and management, verbally and in writing.

Transports parts to be tested and completed parts to appropriate area for shipping, stocking, or rework.

Determines product rejects for rework or scrap and completes required paperwork.

Ability to fit into a team setting.

Must be able to use various hand tools used to crimp, cut, strip and measure.

Qualifications:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

2-3 years experience in a production/manufacturing setting and/or mechanical assembly preferred.

Associates degree in Electronics or Advanced technical training strongly preferred; or experience inplating and working with various hand tools.

Plastic welding experience a plus.

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

Must have basic computer and writingskills, able stand for long periods, and safely lift 50lbs when required.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Must be able to work in a team based environment.

Good eye-hand coordination.

Impeccable attention to detail.
