Key Account Manager (m/w/d) OEM Automotive/ Aerospace
Being the Key Account Sales Manager (m/w/d) at BANT-IT you are responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships with our OEM customers in Europe, where you market our fastening solutions to serve mostly Automotive, Vehicle as well as Aerospace industries.
Responsible for identifying, targeting, prospecting, demonstrating, selling and supporting BAND-IT customers across the European Vehicle and Aerospace Industry
Development of strategic, marketing and tactical plans to profitably grow sales of BAND-IT products to targeted hybrid electric and aerospace electrical specification markets
Contribute coordinates and leverage strategies, capabilities and synergies as part of the Global Transportation Sales team
Understand and report on customer applications, problems to be solved and opportunities, then propose and present BAND-IT solutions to customers
Maintain an understanding of BAND-IT’s technical, service, support and product capabilities, communicate same to customers and prospective customers
Develop and recommend pricing, quotations and proposals reflecting analysis of all cost and operational factors versus customer expectations, following the appropriate process and approvals
Services the customer after the sale and production startup to ensure satisfaction and to promote future business
Completed university degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent education
At least 5 years’ experience in account management / sales of heavy duty equipment or larger capital goods
Vehicle OEM and / or Tier-One automotive or aerospace experience is highly desired
Proficiency in forecasting, margin analysis and financial statements
Demonstrated ability to influence the market and work effectively as part of a global team
Strategic thinker with high business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit
Excellent verbal and written communication & presentation skills and a drive to success personality
Business fluent language skills in English as well as willingness to travel internationally. French or German language skills are a plus
