As part of the Corporate IT organization, the Director of CX Applications will lead & develop team managers and specialists across the areas of CRM, customer portals, eCommerce, and EDI. This individual will drive standard work and platform applications at the center by partnering with Business Unit leadership and Business Unit CX resources to develop and drive our global, digital strategy.
At IDEX we are in the early stages of our digital transformation and customer obsession efforts and have invested in some key platform solutions. This leader will continue to build out a central team and leverage process, systems, and business relationships to transform the way we interact and transact with our customers.
The position reports to the Vice President, Enterprise Business Systems.
Experience in leading digital commerce strategy and initiatives in a decentralized environment.
Develop and execute a multi-year digital technology roadmap supporting the full range of products, services, and technology needs
Understand and develop strategy for integration with ERP and related systems
Experience developing teams and partnering with business units to accomplish shared goals
Monitors and keeps current on technology and social trends that could impact the organization, and maintains current information about technology standards and compliance/security regulations
Preferred experience with SAP Commerce Cloud, MS Dynamics
Preferred experience with JDE and EDI technologies
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field
Prior experience launching or managing e-commerce and marketing platforms in B2B environments
Prior experiencing supporting commercial organizations in an industrial manufacturing environment
Prior experience in formal customer engagement including Voice of the Customer analysis
7+ years of digital commerce and business/industry work experience
