IDEX Site Leader (f/m/d) iPEK in Sulzberg, Germany

GENERAL PURPOSE

As member of WII Group Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the President of WII Group, the Site Leader leads all iPEK activities and teams related to the sites of Sulzberg (Germany) and Hirschegg (Austria), with the aim to deliver reliably and effectively top quality products that meet market and client demand, while securing Quality, Safety & Environmental impact, as well as building a scalable, effective, sustainable organization and a profitable operation. The Site Leader will lead the implementation of IDEX Operational model and build a culture of excellence, high-performance and customer-centricity.

The Site Leader’s direct reports will include Quality, Operations (incl. production, purchasing, maintenance, industrial engineering), HR, Facility Management and EHS. The Site leader will partner with Sales, Engineering, Finance and IT to achieve iPEK long & short-term strategy goals.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Strategy: Defining,communicating divisional strategies and key strategic prioritiesin line, while contributing, as member of WII SLT, to elaborating WII group and iPEK strategies while being aligned with IW strategy and goals.

  • Operational Leadership and oversight: Leadingher / his leadership teamand implementing divisional strategies, roadmaps and initiatives, while monitoring the actions needed to meet market demand,continuously improvingorganizational efficiency and ensuring effective implementation andtranslation of strategy into action.Implementing the IDEX Op. Modelacross functions and building highly effective leadership teams.

  • Quality & Excellence: Steeringthe leadership team to build excellence and be accountable to deliver top quality products, with zero defect on time, meeting market & clients’ needs and demand.

  • New building project: Ensuring effective leadership of the new building project , while monitoring costs, investments and delivery timelines, building a show piece for IDEX with a strong footprint in Sustainability.

  • Culture: Working with her / his leadershipteam and other functional leaders to build the cultureacross the organization: a culture of customer centricity, accountability, quality & excellence, performance-driven and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Organization and Talent (OTC): Building a scalable, diverse, effective organization and talent pool, securingthe right talents in the right roles,growing talents and leaders from inside, with effective succession planning.

  • E nvironment, H ealth & S afety (EHS) :Promoting and ensuring health & safety at all levels, taking concrete actions to create a positive environmental impact. Supporting the new building project so to create a strong vision and footprint in sustainability and environmental impact.

  • Facility Management : Ensuring an effective facility management, optimizing space utilization, cleaning, cost effectiveness and good working environment.​

  • Budgeting, planning and reporting: Ensureseffective planningand monitoring of the cost budget and investments in close coordination with the leadership team, following-up with regular budget reconciliation and reporting, proposing any countermeasure in case of deviations.

  • Solid understanding of technical products and environment

  • Solid experience in operational excellence and process optimization
