SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITES :

The Maintenance Specialist is a multi-craft position that performs troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, condition monitoring and repairs to the facility.

REPORTS TO: Facilities Supervisor

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine general maintenance at the facility including but not limited to structural repairs, paint, replace ceiling tiles, etc.

• Conduct preventative maintenance in and around the facility to minimize risk

• Repair faulty equipment/structures

• Act as primary contact for all HVAC, plumbing etc.

• Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.

• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment

• Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure standards are upheld

• Install structures or fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware, using carpenters' hand or power tools.

• General duties including light plumbing work, concrete work, painting, cleaning, and landscaping

• All other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 2 years in similar or related field

• Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques

• Possess the ability to stand for long periods of time

• Effective ability to prioritize tasks to completion

• Possess the ability to independently lift up to 50 pounds
