The role of the Customer Service Representative is to process incoming orders while supplying sales & key customer base with information including shipping dates, delays, unit price and handling/escalating complaints. The Customer Service Representative is a high energy communicator and problem solver whose goal is to provide best-in-class customer service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Communicate with internal and external customers by email and phone to resolve customer inquiries and Sales Orders. Sets clear expectations by providing accurate information and transparent communication.
Works with team members to ensure all pieces of order are present. Edits orders received for price and nomenclature. Informs customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays and additional information needed. Records or files copy of orders received according to expected delivery date. Enters orders into business system.
Multitasks between multiple tools and systems (knowledge base, team meetings, supervisor) and applies information and knowledge to customer situations.
Manages customer account records by updating information.
Provides phone support for incoming calls.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree preferred.
2+ years of work experience in a Customer Service role.
Excellent computer skills. Microsoft Office Applications and ERP System experience (JDE) preferred.
Must have exceptional attention to detail and process.
Clear, precise communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize.
Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and follow up skills
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
Works effectively in a team environment; both with internal and external stakeholders.
Consistently operates at the highest level of integrity and is never willing to compromise with regards to ethical standards.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and high transaction environment, with the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.

Required to wear safety glasses and utilize other safety equipment as required while present on the shop floor.
