IDEX Health and Science is a growing manufacturing company and it is critical that the individual in this position provide strong reliable technical and users support for servers, network, personal computer hardware, and software applications. This role requires excellent customer service and a proactive can do attitude.
Responsibilities : include the following: Other duties may be assigned as needed
Provide Customer Service for end-user IT needs throughout Organization (local and remote)
Organizes and control all computer operation activities including documentation
Responsible for the installation and maintenance of the company’s IT assets
Responsible for the maintenance of the telephone and voicemail systems.
Support end-user computing devices including desktops, laptops, printers and mobility devices
Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day personal computer issues
Provide JDE tier 1 user assistance and user set-up
Provide for daily backup and emergency restoration of network disk drives
Perform software patching in coordination with Corporate based resources
Participate in development of computer applications training
Database and application development and maintenance
Work closely with security officer to meet audit and compliance requirements
Assist with user network administration tasks
IDEX & SOX Compliance.
JDE Tier 1 Support Adds, Deletes; light PO creation.
Excellent communication (verbal/written) & customer service skills.
Ability to manage yourself and projects in a timely manner.
Ability to multi-task in high-paced manufacturing environment.
Support Hyper-V servers. (SAN and Hosts)
Working knowledge of operating systems. (Windows 2000/XP/7/8)
Working knowledge of other software packages including. (MS Office, VPN, CAD Applications…etc.)
Working knowledge of Intel-based PC’s and Servers. (Dell preferred)
Working knowledge of local and network printer/copier support, configuration and installation.
Experience creating end-user documentation and providing IT training.

College degree in computer science or related area.
Three years of corporate experience in a similar position.Proven track record in supporting a multi-user environment.
Certifications in one or more of the following are desired (but not required): Microsoft, Dell, Cisco.
Plus for this position would be ERP implementation experience.
