Pulsafeeder is on the verge of wide-ranging product innovation and is seeking to build out its sales team to position itself for scalable growth.

Position description:

The Municipal Market Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire sales process within the Municipal Water Treatment vertical in North America. This will include both prospecting new opportunities, tracking industry project activity and working with strategy teams regarding industry regulatory requirements to position Pulsafeeder to help our customers with future challenges.

The successful candidate will be able to balance prospecting and relationship-building activities to achieve measurable growth.

Success will be defined by the individual’s ability to grow the opportunity funnel, work with key customers on product training and gathering VOC, as well as achieve plan targets in Orders, Sales, and Margin in the defined accounts.

This individual will have tremendous visibility within Pulsafeeder and other IDEX business units and will report directly to the Commercial Director for Pulsafeeder EPO Products. They will also be a key partner in new product development activities for the municipal market and in strategy efforts.


  • Launch direct contact campaigns consisting of cold-calls, in-person meetings, and group presentations to build alliances with key decision-makers in the procurement chain.

  • Cultivate existing channel partners (distributors) and OEMs to help Pulsafeeder achieve growth in the target markets.

  • Represent Pulsafeeder industry groups and conferences

  • Investigate and track current and future regulatory requirements for the Municipal Water Market.

  • Develop strategies to maximize output from key channel partners.

  • Close complex project sales within key distributor accounts

  • Work closely with engineering firms to train partners and build relationships across North America

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Municipal Water or adjacent field

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within North America


  • Working remotely or in the office in either Rochester, NY or Punta Gorda, FL – negotiable

  • Travel to customer sites and manufacturing facilities

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $83,500.00 - $125,300.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
