Conduct critical alignment and final test on turnkey optical systems in a
production environment. Work in a team along with assembly personal to
complete final system level assembly, alignment and testing to ensure
product quality. Must be able to understand basic optical alignment
concepts and perform fine adjustments. Familiarity with interferometric
measurements, autocollimator and laser alignment a plus. . Provide
assembly-level trouble shooting and product improvement suggestions in
support of continuous product improvement. Adhere to production schedule.

Demonstrate accuracy and consistency.
Understand optical theories and properties.
Ability to work well independently.
Use good judgment when analyzing data.
Ability to work with respect to production schedule.
Ability to work with Engineering & Manufacturing departments.
Proficient computer skills (word, excel).
Complies with health and safety policies and procedures.
Supports company values including ethical conduct and high integrity inall actions.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to be well organized.
Comply with the Clean Room Protocol when entering a clean roomenvironment.
CROSS TRAINED IN THESE DUTIES (Back up required by ISO Certification):
- Able to work in Assembly department performing basic assembly work.
- Able to train peers in critical procedures and/or best practices

EDUCATION/TRAINING/WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Relevant education and experience preferred
2 year technical degree program
Experience in delicate assembly work with precision equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation including work
instructions, procedures, manuals and drawings
Ability to take verbal direction and instruction from senior staff and
Ability to effectively communicate equipment and production issues with
required team members
High school math proficiency
Ability to solve practical problems
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral,
diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Proficient computer skills Windows & Microsoft Word/Excel.
