Position Summary:

Direct sales support activities for accessory and system products and be the internal Subject Mater Expert. Provide technical application assistance within the company and externally to end users and fabricator as well as review application details on orders and inquiries.

Essential Functions: Position requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in transmission of pertinent product and policy information to field sales, direct customers, and end users.

  • Provide answers to colleagues on questions and assist them in handling customer requirements.

  • Assist in the measurement and data capture of Daily Management metrics.

  • Serve as a liaison between customers, the field sales organization, and factory personnel.

  • Maintain pricing and year-end pricing processes for assigned products.

  • Maintain 30 - 45 day project data base based on RFQ’s, field input, and customer projects to be communicated to operations and forecasted

  • Develop and facilitate development of various tools and processes to increase the effectiveness of the Customer Support roles (CS and AE) and to provide a continuously improving environment.

  • Reviews all accessory and system orders, and review all requests for new part numbers or when there may be some question to the proper application of product in question.

  • Technical liaison with Engineering.

  • Assist in preparation of published technical documents such as Technical Service Manuals and white papers covering product and process descriptions.

  • Participate and support direct sales and troubleshooting calls as required by field sales.

  • Lead New Product Development projects from idea to commercialization for product portfolio.

  • Other tasks as assigned by the segment Business Line Director.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Participates in factory training

  • Collects data for predetermined metrics to support cross functional business need

  • Meet and exceed sales targets

  • All other duties as assigned

  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels including senior leadership

  • Time manage staff and workloads to a high standard

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with strong attention to detail

  • Leads or participates in a number of projects and initiatives simultaneously

  • Write reports, business correspondence, training material and standard operating procedures.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, or Industrial Technology

  • 2-3 years technical experience preferably with regards to water treatment, cooling towers and boilers.

  • Prior customer service and application experience preferred

  • Meeting and exceeding KPI’ s used to monitor performance

  • Experience gained in the manufacturing and or water treatment industry

  • Preferably experience of 80/20

  • Strong analytical ability

Additional Skills:

  • Bilingual a plus but not mandatory

  • Microsoft Office proficiency

  • JDE preferred
