Scope of Role:

The Human Resources Manager plans, organizes and executes all Human

Resource functions for Pulsafeeder SPO. This will include responsibility

for the entire employment process, recruitment, employee and labor

relations, employee compensation, safety, compliance, and employee


Major Areas of Responsibility:

  • HR Business Partnership to General Manager and Senior Leadership Team

  • Employee Engagement and Relations

  • Leadership Team & Organizational Development

  • HR Administration and Compliance

  • Risk Management

  • Compensation, Benefits and HRIS

  • Staffing and Recruitment

Primary Job Duties:

Develop, manage and execute the Pulsafeeder SPO human resource plan,

including organizational analysis, strategic planning and development, and

day to day HR activities. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited

to, the following:

HR Business Partnership

  • Partner with the General Manager for Strategic Business & HRDevelopment

  • Partner & build relationships with Senior Leadership Team,providing guidance and assistance as needed

  • Deliver full cycle Human Resources services enabling the organizationto attract, manage, develop and retain colleagues to meet customerneeds and achieve business objectives.

  • Provide internal customer support and drive HR functional excellenceand process improvement

Employee Engagement and Relations

  • Facilitate the Employee Engagement (iSAY) survey process and activelyparticipate in implementing action plans improve engagement.

  • Manages employee issues to satisfactory resolution and providesguidance to supervisors and managers addressing employee issues.

  • Ensures organizational compliance with company procedures, policies& labor laws and guidelines including but not limited to Federaland local DOL, EEOC, etc.

Leadership Team & Organizational Development

  • Lead & Facilitate the Development of the Senior Leadership andMid-Level Supervisor Teams

  • Coordinate and manage training initiatives; annual Talent/HR Review,tuition reimbursement, skills training, and management development.

  • Coordinate and manage career development plans, based on performancereviews, 360 reviews, Talent/HR Review, etc.

  • Coordinate and manage Workday performance management process.

  • Coordination of VOE (Voice of Employee) metrics and process improvementprojects.

HR Administration and Compliance

  • Act as the location Ethics Officer to coordinate and manage compliancewith all applicable regulatory and corporate and local policies andprocedures.

  • Develop, implement and maintain all required regulatory reporting; AAP,EEO-1, VETS-100, OSHA 300, etc.

  • Develop and communicate HR Scorecard to management team, highlightingHR metrics and the impact on the business

Compensation, Benefits and Payroll/HRIS

  • Coordinate and manage compensation plans; prepare and implement annualsalary plans, develop and align compensation plans to drive desiredemployee and business performance.

  • Maintain HRIS, i-Achieve, i-Learn and other HR systems.

  • Oversee payroll systems, time and attendance systems, and ensure dataintegrity

  • Coordinate and manage benefits plans; annual benefits open enrollment,and issue resolution.

Staffing and Recruitment

  • Develop and execute a recruitment plan that aligns with businessobjectives, incorporates traditional and non-traditional recruitmentsources and ensures the casting of a "wide net" to attract andintroduce qualified diverse candidates to the organization.

  • Manage and execute the recruitment process; advertising, jobdescriptions, applicant screening, interview scheduling, and referencechecks.

  • Manage and develop relationships with recruitment agencies (temporaryand permanent placement) and University Career Services organizations.

  • Ensure all new employees participate in a new employee orientationprocess, expediting their assimilation into the organization.


  • B.S. in Human Resources or Business Related Science

  • 5+ Years of progressive HR leadership experience preferably in amanufacturing environment with documented experience that aligns withthe position description and examples of successful outcomes

  • Strong employee relations experience

  • Broad Business Knowledge

  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication and Organizational Skills aswell as high proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications

  • Ability and Experience Working in a Fast-paced, deadline OrientedEnvironment

  • Excellent Team Player and Interpersonal Skills
