Quality Department is currently looking for a hands-on Quality Technician supporting incoming and final inspection for our Prover Product Line. This technician is an integral member of the Quality team and requires attention to detail, priority setting, and time allocation based upon changing priorities and initiatives.
Inspect incoming product to documented requirements, such as engineering drawings, inspection test plans and first articles
Record inspection results on inspection sheets and in PC MRP system.
Maintain records of inspection results.
Compile and prepare certificates from suppliers that are part of the data package that ship to the customer.
Perform in-process inspection of sub-assemblies in manufacturing.
Perform final inspection of provers prior to shipping to customers.
Monitor equipment calibration and re-calibration.
Ability to preform tasks with minimum supervision
Comply with Safe work methods, policies and procedures
High School Diploma
Associate degree or vocational school certificate preferred.
Ability to use inspection tools and equipment required to inspect product.
Calibers, Pi Tape, OD Micrometers, ID Micrometers
Detailed oriented – able to create concise and legible records.
Experience with MS office and Adobe Acrobat or similar programs.
Experience with a Quality Management System
