SCOPE OF ROLE: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for supporting operations management with the overall objective of providing on-time delivery of quality products. You will lead a team of material handlers and manage all material movement and order picking within the business. You will plan and organize customer orders working closely with the appropriate internal departments to insure the completeness of orders and on-time shipping. Utilizing established guidelines, determine packaging and skidding requirements and appropriately prepare all product for shipment after completion by the production cells.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist with daily schedule for the warehouse and assign work to material handling team.

  • Confer with other leads & management to ensure a picking order schedule that meets operational demands.

  • Utilizing a standard cadence, ensure all production cells are supplied with the appropriate material for on-time production completion.

  • Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.

  • Research and resolve all MRP transaction issues, adjustments, and discrepancies. Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.

  • Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy. Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments. Complete and review cycle counts.

  • Reviews work for accuracy and completeness.

  • Submit tool, material, and safety supply requisitions as well as facilities requests when necessary.

  • Assist other team members to improve their ability to meet quality and productivity standards.

  • Provide feedback to management on matters that impede the progress of management’s objectives of providing a harmonious, safe and productive work environment.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

  • HS Diploma or general education degree (GED) and 5 years of warehouse leadership experience, or equivalent required

  • Forklift certification

  • Ability to operate warehouse machinery and read work orders

  • Ability to work in a team environment and is highly dependable

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates degree and 8 years of warehouse leadership experience
