As an integral part of the AFS operations team, the Senior Quality Manager will lead the definition, execution, and deployment of AFS’s Quality Management System (QMS) and overall strategic Quality Plan in conjunction with the operations leadership team. The position will be responsible for our alignment on a quality strategy, process and technology improvement roadmaps, best practices, resource planning.

You will direct and coordinate the monitoring / evaluation of internal production processes, examination / testing of products and components to ensure their compliance to specifications, and the gathering and analysis of customer data to ensure the prompt root cause identification and countermeasure of product performance issues. You will provide the vision and leadership to transition AFS from two separate quality systems into a single QMS covering all product lines within the Oklahoma City facility. You will also provide oversight and support on critical business initiatives working closely with the AFS Leadership team focusing on prioritization, resource allocation and execution. You will also act a key liaison with the Operations and Commercial groups to ensure annual continuous process and product improvements are implemented to improve our overall customer experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality, engineering, or manufacturing

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading quality, engineering or manufacturing projects and teams

  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance and continuous improvement methods, approaches, and tools, including strategic planning and project management

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution

  • 10 years of experience in the quality function

  • 5 years of formal leadership experience

  • Experience in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Quality Management System standards (i.e., ISO-9001, TS-16949)
