As a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team, the Global Marketing and Product Management Leader will be responsible for leading our global marketing, product strategy, and long-term product growth initiatives through broad collaboration with sales, operations and engineering teams. This includes building and executing on key and long-term product initiatives and roadmaps, and creating customer and marketing strategies, processes and tools. You will also lead the strategy and direction with others to ensure revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction goals are met. As a team leader, you will provide direction and manage team engagement to a cross functional team in product management, marketing communications and business/marketing development management. Additionally, you will lead, develop and execute our IoT strategy for growth. This role spans strategy, segment marketing, new business development and technical solution definition.
Develop portfolio marketing plan to win new business, including leading the team through identifying opportunities in adjacent markets.
Drive marketing and product management capabilities, including developing and implementing formal marketing and product management processes.
Manage products from inception to phase out, including product launch and support; and resolves problems with existing products working across cross-functional teams. Manage current product line strategy to drives sales for the business.
Leads product management functions including market analysis, establishing product and associated service requirements, target segmentation, competitive analysis and industry trends.
Lead, develop, communicate and manage the product strategy, product roadmaps and pricing strategies in alignment with business strategies, and in collaboration with cross-functional team.
Partnering with account management and customer experience teams, you will develop and drive execution of customer engagement strategies to achieve wins in accordance with our strategic growth plans.
BASIC EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, or engineering related areas
10 years’ experience in commercial roles, including marketing with demonstrated business growth
3 years’ experience in formal leadership role
Experience deploying products utilizing Internet of Things technologies
Experience working in global environments, particularly in high growth markets and with a globally distributed workforce
Ability to travel 50% of time, including overnight and global trips
- Master’s degree, preferably MBA
