SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITES :

The Modules Assembler will perform assembly of mechanical pumps; pump module packages, attachment of body to pump, and testing and certification of finished product.

REPORTING TO :

Hale Products, Inc. Production Supervisor, Modules

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work from verbal and written instructions

  • Assemble modules using various hand, power, and pneumatic tools

  • Professionally interact with team members and internal customers

  • Interprets prints and work instructions for product build

  • Perform simple machining, such as drilling and tapping, to fit parts at assembly

  • Assembles products with little to no assistance to quality standards

  • Panel assembly as required

  • Documents defective products on logs and routes to proper location

  • Maintains a safe and tidy work environment consistent with 6S

  • Identify and help resolve quality issues

  • Communicates production issues in a timely manner

  • Reports maintenance and equipment issues

  • All other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Ability to read tape measure in both standard and metric scales.

  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

  • Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

  • Engineering and Technology — Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or at least 1 year of demonstrated proficiency in Modules assembly.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
