Notifies or locates customers with delinquent accounts and attempts to secure payment by performing the following duties. Supervises, coaches, and develops A/R specialists.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Promotes a positive image of the Fire and Safety division by providing excellent customer service and communication, and working to facilitate a responsive and satisfactory customer experience.
Supervises accounts receivable/credit department personnel to accomplish daily task requirements and department objectives.
Analyses accounts receivable aging to identify issues and prioritizes collection efforts for department staff.Develop analytical reports using crystal reports and webi.
Balances daily system and bank reports to accounts receivable ledger roll forward, confirming key balancing control points.
Performs daily accounts receivable department functions as needed to assist department staff, including cash reporting and receipts posting, credit card payment processing, cash balancing, management of order releases, initiates collection efforts and communications and dispute resolution.
Prepares monthly analyses and reports as required by Hale and IDEX, including monthly account receivable reconciliations and cash collections forecast.
Liaises with other departments to resolve customer dispute issues and correct internal process deficiencies driving customer disputes.
Ensures department compliance with FSG and IDEX credit and collection policies.
Establishes initial credit limits for new customers.Evaluates customer activity and payment history and makes recommendations on accounts to be closed, or have credit limits increased or reduced.
Assists with related special projects, as required. Supervisory Responsibilities Supervisory responsibility for one A/R Collections Specialist.
