Provide direction and oversite to the Corporate JDE Optimization Team. This is a management position, and the primary responsibility is to keep the Support team fully tasked-up and engaged on value-adding projects as requested by the IDEX JDE install base business units. This role will require daily interaction with IDEX Business Unit’s (from senior management to end user) to help drive system and process improvements. Work at the direction of the IDEX Director JDE Services to improve operational performance at IDEX business units through both continuous improvement and full adoption of the capabilities offered by JDE as a business system platform.
Prioritize and manage the day-to-day activities of the Optimization team support analysts
Partner with the IDEX Business Unit’s to identify, schedule and complete JDE process improvements at the respective Business Unit sites
Develop a forward-looking pipeline of install base opportunity projects
Champion the rollout of IDEX standard process to the JDE install base
Retrofit newly developed best practices to the older install base units
Drive new technology adoption at legacy install base sites (examples - move from Create! Forms to BI, move from RFSmart to internal JDE, adoption of Operational Reports, deployment of Orchestrator)
Project Management – manage the install base engagements as projects, with associated project management collateral (Gantt charts, resource schedules, critical milestones, issue tracking, etc.)
Provide and manage tier two support requests from the JDE install base, as logged through Zendesk
Provide regular updates, as defined by the JDE Director, on progress towards goals, current backlog, and resource efficiency
Strong management skills. You will be managing a geographically diverse team, supporting multiple IDEX business units
Recent, relevant, hands-on experience as a JDE implementation consultant/systems analyst
Ability to multi-task. This role will require participation in multiple active projects, in multiple capacities
Cross functional JDE application knowledge (distribution/manufacturing/finance/other)
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
BS degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field (Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.)
Prior Work Experience:
Management experience, preferably with a distributed team
Experience working with JDE applications as a functional consultant
Experience working with cross-functional teams and heavily matrixed organizations
