Our fluidics team is located across Oak Harbor, WA, Rohnert Park, CA, Bristol, CT, and Middleboro, MA. IT Systems Administrator is responsible to provide reliable technical and users support for servers, some network, personal computer hardware, and software applications.


  • Provide Customer Service for end-user IT needs throughout Organization (local and remote)

  • Organizes and control all computer operation activities including documentation

  • Responsible for the installation and maintenance of the company’s IT assets

  • Responsible for the maintenance of the telephone and voicemail systems.

  • Support end-user computing devices including desktops, laptops, printers and mobility devices

  • Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day personal computer issues

  • Provide JDE tier 1 user assistance and user set-up

  • Provide for daily backup and emergency restoration of network disk drives

  • Perform software patching in coordination with Corporate based resources

  • Participate in development of computer applications training

  • Database and application development and maintenance

  • Work closely with security officer to meet audit and compliance requirements

  • Assist with user network administration tasks

  • Manage ad hoc IT projects as needed.

  • Perform other duties as required.


  • Associate degree in computer science, IT, or related area.

  • 3+ years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proven track record in supporting a multi-user environment

  • Certifications in one or more of the following are desired: Microsoft, Dell, Cisco

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering the best outcome for the business and customers

  • Excellent written communication skills, with an ability to produce and maintain technical documentation

  • Strong verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate highly technical information to non-technical audiences

  • Good attention to detail and ability to multi-task, work on multiple service tickets & projects concurrently in high-paced environment to meet or exceed customer expectations

  • Good troubleshooting skills and ability to problem solve using analytical skills, technical expertise and research.

  • This position periodically requires being on-call outside of normal business hours to support service issues and emergency or maintenance tasks

  • Ability to work independently and with a team

  • Working knowledge of Hyper-V servers (SAN and Hosts)

  • Working knowledge of operating systems (Windows 2000/XP/7/8)

  • Working knowledge of other software packages including (MS Office, VPN, CAD Applications…etc.)

  • Working knowledge of Intel-based PC’s and Servers (Dell preferred)

  • Working knowledge of local and network printer/copier support, configuration and installation

  • Experience creating end-user documentation and providing IT training

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
