Managing one HR Coordinator directly and engaging others in the leadership team as needed, lead HR function, to continuously improve the engagement, talent and the performance of teams in support of the Warren Rupp business unit as well as to ensure Warren Rupp is in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as IDEX policies and procedures.

Drive Talent and Key HR Processes

  1. Rebuild trust in HR across the business with an emphasis on the employee base.

  2. Continuously raise the bar in the maturity of the processes within the organization.

  • The Recruiting processes – review state of WHO method, collaboration with Spvr and HR and prioritization of open roles.

  • Employee Relations – review how employee questions and concerns are handled.Determine who is best situated to own the issue – the benefit center, the supervisor, the EAP, the leadership team or HR.

  • OTC quarterly update form and cadence & prioritize other processes to be improved

  1. Reach out to HR at Gast and learn about the inbox set up for supervisor/HR collaboration regarding employee issues and incidents.

  2. Coordinate, and with GM and leadership team implement IDEX HR process within the business – Performance Management – goal setting, mid-year and year-end performance reviews; Organizational Talent Cycle (OTC) including quarterly updates.

  3. Provide templates to leaders to onboard new hires.

  4. Ensure HR coordinator has the skills, tools and understanding of WR to be successful.

Provide HR Management

  1. Ensure consistency of application of Warren Rupp and IDEX policies, practices, procedures and regulations.

  2. Coordinate HR policies, labor laws with management of HR infrastructure (i.e. Leave of Absence, Affirmative Action, government audits, Workday Data and work with Health and Safety Manger to ensure Workers’ Comp leave is processed in HRIS)

  3. Report to any ethics or equal employment opportunity concerns to functional HR leader and HR legal and conduct and/or support employee investigations.

  4. Coordinate and manage Warren’s compensation plans; prepare and implement annual salary plans and merit process to drive desired employee and business performance.

  5. Oversee HRIS, payroll systems, time and attendance systems, and ensures data integrity.

  6. Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment and enable employee issue resolution, transferring reliance from the local team to the benefits center.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Business, Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent.

  • 8+ years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years leading most HR functions for 150+ employees, preferably in manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated successful track record working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment is required.

  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, organizational and collaboration skills and ability to relate to all levels of employees and leaders. HR certification a plus for example, PHR

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, engineering or Lean manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills are required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
