WHO is KZValve?
We specialize in low voltage actuated valves and are strategically located between Lincoln & Omaha near Ashland-Greenwood, a half mile North of exit 420, where we design and assemble our products. We have recently been acquired by IDEX Corporation in May 2022. The primary function of this role is to serve our current OEM customers as the primary day to day contact and be the liaison between the customer and KZValve departments.
Essential Duties
Develop a sound understanding of the KZValve product offering and processes
Build a relationship with assigned OEM customer account contacts
Maintain discretion over matters of significance related to managed accounts, which may have a direct impact on KZValve and the account’s financial well-being
Document and process transactions between the customer and KZValve
Price quotations
Sales orders
Product updates and changes
Annual price increase
Various other customer-related responsibilities
Additional Duties
Relaying information to sales and marketing regarding engineering information (specifications) and pricing. Effectively managing the information flow from sales and marketing, to engineering, and then back to the sales and marketing department regarding product, timing, delivery, and pricing as applicable.
Provide instruction to internal KZValve teams to aid in management of customer demands
Provide answers for pricing questions and product assistance to customers, distributors (as required), as well as employees within the company
Minimal travel may be required
Other duties that may be requested from time to time as required
Position Requirements and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
4 to 6 years of customer service or applicable experience
Self-motivated, action-oriented individual who can manage their workload and work independently
Superior teamwork skills
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Customer service, planning, and execution skills
Business relationship building skills (internal and external)
Problem solving/analytical thinking
Conflict management / composure skills
Detail oriented / planning and organizing skills
Computer proficient. Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
