With extensive travel within the assigned geography (about 70% of the time), this role is crucial in regards to growing ourXPECTIONproduct line. Key accounts will be self-developed in collaboration with the ADS sales team. The successful candidate will demonstrate the product and will have the communication abilities to serve as a trusted advisor to the operations department of wastewater utility groups as well as with private contractors.


The ADS team is introducing a new sewer cleaning video nozzle that provides wireless video and guarantees to monitor the cleaning process. The system attaches seamlessly to any cleaning truck, enables a demand-oriented cleaning process and thus saves time, money and resources. The Field Sales Technician for the Eastern U.S. will focus on driving and gaining specifications for theXPECTIONproduct line, targeting large contracting companies and governmentally run municipalities predominantly located in/around major metro markets (but not exclusively) within the Eastern United States. A strong focus on new business development is key to growth in this role. The ideal candidate will scale up theXPECTIONbusiness line through the development of direct sales, OEM opportunities and distributor partnerships.


  • Attend/participate in approved events such as exhibitions and conferences

  • Deliver a quarterly report on competitive activity and positions including pricing, products, and promotions

  • Meet or exceed all targets for assigned geography

  • Must be a hunter & road warrior, adept at building and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities

  • Network with other industry manufacturers who drive complementary products for other products in the wastewater/sewer cleaning market

  • Provide product presentations/Lunch & Learn sessions/product demonstrations as required (20 / mo.)



  • Capability to track sales opportunities through our CRM system

  • Hands-on knowledge of sewer cleaning, technical competence to handle

professional equipment

  • Passion for selling innovative technology

  • Perseverance in gaining face-to-face meetings with key stakeholders

  • Strong client relations in the North American/US sewer cleaning industry

  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Utilize “Value Selling” approach and tools as available and applicable


  • Transport, set up and demonstrate company products

  • Manual lifting requirements could reach up to 50 lbs.

  • Content with a schedule calling for extended

and/or irregular work hours

  • Working outdoors, at waterworks facilities, trade shows, as well as time

at residential home office (rental vehicle, airplanes, etc.)
