IDEX Aftermarket Manager in Delran, New Jersey

Overview :

Matcon is a subsidiary of IDEX Corporation, Illinois, United States. Matcon Ltd is a subsidiary of the group and is headquartered in Evesham, UK, with facilities in Delran New Jersey, as well as group centres of excellence in India and China.

Matcon has an installation base across the globe with a significant need for best in class technical and commercial support for these sites. The majority of customers have mission critical production facilities, where downtime and risk need to be minimised. Support is offered in both reactive and proactive means, such as spare parts, preventative service agreements, equipment refurbishments and system capacity additions.

The Aftermarket Manager will have responsibilities to increase the Customer Service level experience through management of a Service account manager, Service engineer, Customer Support Engineer and Aftermarket administrator. With the aim of tactically guiding the team to offer technical support and drive active account management. This position suits a confident, enthusiastic and resourceful individual who enjoys working directly with clients and can engage a team to offer best in class customer experience. Candidates who are self-motivated and enjoy new challenges are best suited to this role.

Key Duties:

  • Develop Sales strategies to proactively sell Matcon repeat products, Spares and Service capabilities.

  • Target senior management level influencers with Matcon’s service offering and multisite agreements

  • Management of monthly forecast submissions in conjunction with the business line leader

  • Understand and communicate market pricing (Spares & Service) to the wider business, ensuring implementation of such price alignment

  • Direct management of the network of Agents in conjunction with the Service account manager

  • Work with marketing and operations teams to support sales strategies

  • Support the management of stock.

  • Lead the Service and Admin. team to ensure clients receive a best-in-class customer experience

  • Provide continuous technical support and training to the team

  • Coordinating area service engineer

  • Management of direct reports workday and goal setting

  • Quote conversion

  • Order intake

  • New service agreements

  • Service engineer utilisation

Key Personal Requirements:

  • Track record of team management and technical proficiency

  • Flexible team player who recognizes both commercial and inter-personal requirements in management style

  • Customer centric attitude

  • 5 years-experience in related roles

  • Located in commutable distance to Delran, New jersey office
