- Define and drive process control methods into the operations to achieve high performing quality and productivity. Make data-based decisions using statistical methods of evaluation. Support ISO9001 and the efforts to sustain the Quality Management System. Support all quality activities for production to improve the quality performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Define methods to evaluate process effectiveness in molding, machining and production
Using statistical methods make data-driven decisions
Drive process improvements based on data acquired following 80/20 concepts
Work with cross functional groups in the organization to optimize the processes
Integrate and manage PFMEA mindset and application into production
Integrate and manage Process Control methods into production
Maintain and support quality documents such as control plans, PFMEA, flow diagrams and work instructions
Support the organization with sustaining the ISO9001 QMS system
Support cross training of associates for improved operations and understanding
Drive root cause analysis, problem solving and corrective actions for quality issues found
Maintain accurate 8D records to support corrective actions and reporting
Support Quality management as needed for effective department functionality
Effectively produce reports or procedures as needed to optimize operations
Determine disposition of rejected materials, components and devices Secondary
Assist with ECN execution as needed
Support new product introduction for quality and process control
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by participation in all training made available by the company
Support material disposition requirements
Implement effective rework methods if needed to ensure high quality
Participate and support Rapid Improvement Events and Kaizen activities
Other assignments given by management
Bachelor’s degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering; Quality or Statistics) or equivalent
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Statistically capable with a thorough understanding of CP, CPK, GRR etc.
Six Sigma Green belt certification
Ability to multitask and delivery expected results
Ability to read Blue Prints and drawings
Proficient computer skills (Excel, Access, ERP systems)
Demonstrate responsibility, respect, dependability, patience, and productivity in order to create a positive work environment
Influential leadership skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills Additional Preferred Qualifications
Six Sigma Black belt certification
