In this position, you will be planning and developing within IDEX Fire & Safety’s equipment/vehicle data/analytics proposition. This position is an IoT – Hardware and Cloud – Development project that is ongoing and in a period of sustainable growth, looking to bring on more developers. The team uses Azure DevOps and utilizes Agile Development Methodologies. The technology stack is Angular 2+ for the Front-End, C# ASP.NET for an API and a Suite of Azure Cloud Services such as IoT Hub, Functions and SQL Servers. The purpose of the Engineer role is to design and deliver a high-quality, secure, and tightly integrated user experience as part of a high-performance solutions development team. The primary responsibilities will be to create a globally deployable user experience within IDEX Fire & Safety’s Captium data platform.

  • Work as part of a multi-disciplined team to create compelling, data driven solutions for our global customers. o Design and Deploy new features while enhancing existing ones. o Design and work with backend API and services.

  • Work effectively with a globally distributed team.

  • Participate in all aspects of software development: from estimating to scheduling, to implementation and then release.


  • Experience with Angular 2+, HTML5, TypeScript, and CSS.

  • C#, ASP.NET, Azure Functions, SQL Server, and Cosmos DB.


  • Azure Cloud development experience

  • Familiarity with Continuous Delivery, DevOps, and Release Management.


  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years professional experience as a web software developer. The estimated compensation for this position is $80,000-$120,000. This position may be eligible for a bonus.
