Primary Function :
Develop and deploy comprehensive global IT strategy for Viking Pump, including all locations in the US, CN, UK and Ireland. Build a highly effective IT team to execute the global strategy across all locations, including career development and performance management for the team. The individual should ensure adoption and proper utilization of all configured capabilities of the business system and IDEX standards/best practices to improve overall business performance and results. The position should have a good perspective of current business, future needs, reporting and data collection requirements.
This position may be eligible for flexible, partial work from home.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop an IT strategy to drive speed and IT improvements in the business, through fully utilizing the JDE system and all other hardware and software used by the organization.
Enhance the organization’s overall understanding of and use of the JDE system through process flow improvements, executed by the team.
Direct day-to-day management of IT staff and ensure the effective operation of IT systems with minimum downtime or impact on the operations of the business.
Develop IT tools for the organization to improve organizational efficiency and capabilities.
Maintain processes to identify, review and address cybersecurity events for review with Information Security Officer.
Maintain a process to review IT security vulnerabilities and develop action plans to remediate issues.
Remediate all other IT issues identified on the quarterly IKCQ (IDEX Key Control Questionnaire).
Responsible for goal setting and priority setting, performance evaluation, and day to day activities of the IT team.
Partner with the Digital Teams to understand and support the business initiatives.
Lead ongoing functional support for JDE and bolt on applications implemented at the sites.
Develop an annual budget for the IT department including all hardware and software needs.
Develop and manage the process to document /maintain business process flows.
Review support for application level automated controls and security access to meet SOX requirements.
Identify and diagnose problems affecting system integrity and data accuracy, conduct routine testing and analysis.
Serve as the primary application representative for the business units on IDEX cross company functional group calls.
Stay current with all application issues, software defects or shortcomings through Oracle Knowledge Garden web site and IDEX published materials.
Perform quarterly segregation of duties review (SEGROD), as required by IDEX.
Maintain high employee engagement through career development, recognition and high-level leadership.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
5-10 years’ experience in a similar sized, multi-site operation.
Bachelors in Information Systems, Computer Science or other related field preferred.
2-3 years’ experience with JDE modules.
5-7 years’ experience in a managerial role in an IT/applications environment.
Prior project management and ERP implementation experience preferred.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
This position will travel to Viking Pump locations and other IDEX businesses estimated at 20%. There may be periods of higher or lower travel percentage.

Certifications in project management, training, APICS or other professional skill development areas is helpful.
Working knowledge of all manufacturing, financial, distribution and related modules in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) product Suite and subsequent releases (9.1, 9.2, etc).
Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with process mapping and use of productivity applications such as Visio, Office tools, etc.
