Position Summary:

The Infrastructure, Network & Data Security Analyst will support IT efforts at Advanced Thin Films, Inc. and CVI Laser, LLC while insuring a balanced, sustainable approach to complexity management, cost reduction and speed to delivery with a focus on security. Infrastructure, Network & Data Security Analyst will partner with colleagues in the Compliance and IT departments to transition and maintain all systems and associated processes to align with security requirements including regulatory, internal and industry best practices. The individual placed in this role will need to be a self-directed individual with the ability to demonstrate teamwork, organization skills and a well-structured working approach given multiple priorities. While Boulder, CO is home base, this position may be approved for remote work or approved for another location.


  • Develop and implement best practices, policies, and processes with respect to information technology and security.

  • Hands-on resource with subject matter expertise to implement cost-effective, scalable solutions to support and maintain a cybersecurity program.

  • Review order to cash manufacturing process to provide improvements around security

  • Partner with Compliance and IT to establish, monitor and enforce security configuration settings for IT hardware and software products employed within the organization, this includes whitelisting and blacklisting policies.

  • Perform patching, hardware/software updates and various other tasks to remediate site level vulnerabilities.

  • Manage daily operations of SIEM and Security Threat Detection, Analysis, and Reporting tools.

  • Work with Compliance, and other onsite staff to help maintain effective cybersecurity policies.

  • Assist with analysis and decisions about adopting industry cybersecurity best practices and tools for any given security issue (this may include evaluation of products).

  • Assist in the delivery of cybersecurity awareness training.

  • Be part of the incident response team and liaise with colleagues and management around cybersecurity issues. This will require good report writing skills and general communication skills.

  • Possess knowledge about cybersecurity and keep up to date with the security industry

  • Understand and evaluate cybersecurity threats on Networks, Systems, and Organization, and perform regular risk analysis of threats.

Required Qualifications:

  • Highly knowledgeable about computers, including networks, operating systems, applications, and web apps

  • Direct experience as being a part of a cyber team working on NIST 800-171 compliance.

  • Must have at least 5 years in IT including processes and tools experience

  • Practical understanding of the application of a variety of IT tools

  • Windows server administration experience or related certification, general IT desktop support.

  • Software troubleshooting, upgrades, etc.

  • Ability to develop and draft policies and procedures

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment that with business process knowledge

  • Experience working in a matrix environment

  • Analytical skills and a mind that likes to delve into problems

  • Doer who is ready for the next level in career.

  • Hands-on partner / vendor relationship skills

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

  • Problem-solving capabilities

  • Must be a U.S. Person

Aspiring to achieve the following certifications:

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional – CISSP

  • Certified Information Security Manager – CISM

  • CompTIA Security+ SANS GIAC Security Essentials – GSEC

  • Offensive Security Certified Professional – OSCP

  • Certified Cloud Security Professional – CCSP

  • MS Computer or Technical related discipline is desirable.

Compensation & Benefits Information:

Salary Range: $85,000-$125,000 annually

Bonus: This position is eligible for company discretionary bonus

Location: While Boulder, CO is home base, this position may be approved for remote work or approved for another location
