POSITION TITLE : Fire Sprinkler Sales Representative

REPORTING TO: Business Line Director

LOCATION: Remote (Northeast/Mid-Atlantic US)

Scope of Role: As Fire Sprinkler Sales Representative, you will engage contractors in the fire sprinkler market to drive growth of product sales. In this role, you will work both independently and in partnership with industry distributors to present Gast products to sprinkler contractor decision makers. This role will identify target contractors in key cities and work to get in front of them to show the Gast product, develop relationships, and convert their compressor purchases from competitors to Gast.


  • Demonstrate product features and benefits utilizing product demos to contractor decision makers on a weekly basis

  • Develop deep customer and market knowledge through field work and engagement with sprinkler contractors

  • Work with distribution partner salespeople to drive sales growth with contractors

  • Maintain a company vehicle equipped with products to display to contractors in the field.

  • Develop and maintain an active pipeline of target contractors to schedule demonstrations.

  • Maintain a customer contact and activity database (CRM)

  • Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license with an impeccable driving record.

  • Perform other assignments as directed by the Business Line Director

  • Travel up to 80%

Measures of Performance

  • Sales growth of the sprinkler product portfolio


  • 5+ years’ experience in a selling capacity in the fire protection/sprinkler market

  • Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office software – particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Proficiency in CRM


  • Excellent communication/presentation skills (written and verbal)

  • Integrity, trust, and interpersonal savvy

  • Ability to prioritize activities and drive to achieve goals

  • Ability to work successfully in a multi-cultural environment

  • Authorized to work in the United States. Gast cannot provide sponsorship at this time.
