Function: Information Technology
Provide strong reliable voice, data and network communication systems for the preservation of company data. Data systems include standalone, networked, personal computer hardware, and software applications. Support for the IDEX Health and Science growing manufacturing company is critical to perform both high and low level IT technical support tasks including incident triage and resolution. Provide Tier 1 Customer Service throughout Organization
Organizes and control all computer operation activities including documentation
Responsible for the installation and maintenance of the company’s various computer networks and corporate WAN
Responsible for the maintenance of the telephone and voicemail systems.
Support end-user computing devices including desktops, laptops, printers and mobility devices
Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day personal computer issues
Provide for daily tape backup/Cloud and emergency restoration of network disk drives.
Perform software patching in coordination with Corporate based resources
Participate in development of computer applications training.
Assist with user network administration tasks
Excellent communication (verbal/written) & customer service skills
Ability to manage yourself and projects in a timely manner
Ability to multi-task in high-paced manufacturing environment
Support Hyper-V servers (SAN and Hosts)
Working knowledge of operating systems (Windows 2000/XP/7/8)
Working knowledge of other software packages including (MS Office, VPN, CAD Applications…etc.)
Working knowledge of Intel-based PC’s and Servers (Dell preferred)
Working knowledge of local and network printer/copier support, configuration and installation
Experience creating end-user documentation and providing IT training

College degree in computer science or related area.
Three years of corporate experience in a similar position.Proven track record in supporting a multi-user environment
Certifications in one or more of the following are desired (but not required): Microsoft, Dell, Cisco
