Description:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Provides Human Resource and other administrative services for the organization with a particular focus on customer service. Creates and maintains confidential employee records, generates reports, and manages databases and files. Administers existing policies and works within existing procedures for carrying out high-quality detail oriented work. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and possess the ability to perform under stressful situations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responds courteously to all customer inquiries in a timely manner.

  • Professionally represents the company while overseeing vendor, provider, and other third party relationships.

  • Interacts with a diverse group of employees and communicates with mutual respect and professionalism in all contexts.

  • Coordinate and schedule travel, arrange meetings - catering, and provide other general administrative support for the facility, special events, and visitors.Understands, communicates, and resolves issues with employees/retirees and benefit providers.

  • Maintains all files to satisfy legal requirements includes background checks, applicant logs, I-9 files, training records.Reconciles vendor billings, issues purchase orders, and prepares invoices for AP processing.

  • Maintains organization and document control, creates and maintains charts for monthly operations and other metrics, organizational charts, and work instructions.

  • Schedules, generates and distributes communication materials for employee relations.

  • Coordinates interviews, manages job postings, facilitates first day orientation, and coordinates ongoing orientation process with management team.

  • Completes and responds to requests regarding employment verification, compensation surveys and other miscellaneous requests.

  • Partners with HR Generalist to coordinate Leave of Absence - documentation, and communication with insurance providers, management, payroll, and HR.Administers employee and community events such as award recognition, gifts, training programs, blood drive, lunches, open enrollment and contributions.

  • Assists HR Director in administrative duties. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma AND Two (2) to four (4) years demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service preferred in an HR role/environment

  • Basic understanding of regulations and laws affecting Human Resources.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher Programs.

  • Preferred experience working with an HR database software such as Workday and Kronos.
